Co-Founder of the Ottawa Asian Heritage Month Society, collaborated with the National Library of Canada, Canadian Museum of Civilization, Museum of Nature, Ottawa Public Library, Canadian Heritage, Asian Senators, CBC Radio, CTV-TV, Asian Embassies, Real Canadian Superstore, pan-Asian Communities etc.,

1998- 2004

Board of Directors of Chinese Canadian National Council, Ottawa Chapter. Designed its website and acted as the webmaster. Believed and forged Asian Heritage Month an inclusive of pan Asian communities.

1980-1993

Initiated and organized countless projects promoting cross cultural understandings and awareness in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, smallest province in Canada.

1977

Taught a Chinese folk dance to 12 Chinse children age from 5 to 13 and presented it in the Guelph Multicultural festival. Comments from local residents "this is first time we saw a Chinese folk dance in Guelph". Many thanks to the parents and children for their participation, especially Ms Cecilia Fung.

Note: Working for the communities in the last 50 years provided me wonderful opportunities to meet Canadians of all walks of life. I wish I had taken photos with all of you. Thank you!
